Trusting in God is difficult, especially when we don’t understand.

On many occasions, I have hijacked God’s plan for me. I’ve become more interested in making decisions on my own, instead of waiting on and trusting God.

And when I do this, I am showing Him that I don’t trust His knowledge, wisdom, and power. I show Him faith without works and end up getting stressed out, exhausted, and unhappy.

This is an example of bearing bad fruit. My lack of faith in God shows the absence of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Encouraging Trust

But be encouraged because God never forsakes us, even when we forsake Him. He is a rock in times of trouble, a provider in times of need, and a merciful King!

And He gives us strength to try again, and grace throughout the process. He has for me, time and time again.

So give all of your heart over to Him. Show Him that you trust in His love for you, for God is faithful and He works everything for our good!
